This was my worst hotel experience. We arrived at 11 o clock at night with my 2 years old son and husband. The receptionest was really rude. He gave us a room on first floor and I asked him if it is noisy or not. He teased me and said that there were drug dealers, prostitutes. I asked for a room in upper floors, he said that hotel was fully booked. Beside the receptionest, the room was very small. Even if I had written on the booking form that I need a baby cot, it was not in the room. I had to ask from receptionest the baby cot, first he did not want to help. Afterwards, he brougt the baby cot and left it in the reception without the sheets. I took it to the room, however there was no way to let my son sleep in this dirty matras. The bed was even small for two persons, we ended up sharing the bed three of us. All the noise from the street was inside the room. You could hear people in next rooms. I told the my story to the lady in the reception next day, she said that I could have changed the room, the hotel was not full.
Very friendly and helpful staff, spoke English. Cozy room, clean, comfortable nice beds. Great location.
The internet did not work in my room, in the hall or stairwell it did!
Basic hotel in an excellent location for a 'city break', friendly staff, clean room/bathroom, good beds/linen and fair price - that's what I look for in a hotel to enjoy a short city stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for the same.
Great location - 2 min till Saint-Michel Boulevard and Sorbonna, 7 min till Luxemburg garden, 10-15 min till Notr Dam... Room is small, air- conditioner is good, beds are convinient, staff speaks English (almost everywhere in Paris staff speak English) and very helpful. Great cafe for breakfast on 5 min, on Sorbonna square.
This is a typical lower-priced Parisian hotel. Small rooms but adequate and clean. Newer carpeting in room. Very nice bathroom with shower, no bath. Courteous, helpful staff. Great location in the Quartier Latin, near the Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens, Sorbonne--short walk to Notre Dame and the St. Chapelle. Recommended--unless you are looking for an American-style hotel.
Everything was fine.
However, I wish the light in the elevator were brighter. It is so dim one has a very hard time identifying the switch to press. A flshlight is needed.
The hotel is well situated, only 5 mins walk from the Ile de la cite. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was maybe not worth 7 euros...
The staff were very helpful. 24 hour reception and all multilingual. Rooms very clean and fresh after being refurbished. Beds comfortable and aircon effective. Very quiet. Close to Luxemburg rer for quick arrival/departure to cda. Has a lift.
Good price, aircondition, location. Near everything but guiet. Small room but good bed, bathroom, screen tv. Friendly dtaff speaking english. We would come back againg.
We had a special offer for a 3-night stay. The hotel was comfortable, with friendly helpful staff and was in an ideal location for sightseeing and restaurants. Breakfast was very good at the price and they even gave us 2 free ones on our last day!
The location is excellent, particularly because of its nearness to the Pantheon building and the Gardens. If you can't get to see the Eiffel tower up close, there is a good view of it from the steps of the Pantheon.
Small room, no view, but adequate bathroom. This hotel provides the basics with no frills.
Comfortable, clean and in a good location to get around this part of Paris. An easy walk to the RER to get from the airport. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, a nice, no frills hotel in a great area.
Rooms are a little small, but it was what I expected.
Location. Near Latin Quarter, St Germain, and Luxembourg Garden. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good value.
Sound echoed up from stairwell, so earplugs were needed. Breakfast could have used fruit or yogurt; the breads were good though.
Staff were mostly pleasant to deal with apart from one member. Location was good.
Water was pouring down from the ceiling on and off during our stay, there was damp stains on carpet indicating this is an ongoing problem, a musty smell in the room, no toilet roll provided when room cleaned, room very cramped, no ventilation in the bathroom.
The hotel was close to sights and restaurants, but on a side street so not too noisy. The staff were friendly and very helpful, with a desk manager always on duty and available. The rooms were small as expected; the bathroom in our double was comfortable, with a shower you could turn around in, and plenty of hot water.
